What a day! It was so great to meet Whitney and Brad who traveled from Atlanta to elope here in Scotland. They chose Dunnottar Castle for their elopement which was an excellent decision. I couldn’t agree more with that. Castle’s grounds and it’s surrounding area create a perfect backdrop for elopement photography. The location is simply stunning so it’s been fun exploring the place after the ceremony. So many great spots to choose from!
Their elopement was enriched with an element of Scottish tradition which was having a symbolic sip of a whisky from a quaich. Besides that, they had a chance to experience truly Scottish weather – which is some kind of a souvenir you cannot actually take back home with you. Bright sunny day, rain, hail, strong wind, and again some more sun. Yep, and everything within 10 minutes 🙂 One of those moments when you realize your umbrella is completely useless 🙂 Anyway, no one was complaining about it at all!
