Sarah & Nicholas

Glencoe Elopement PhotographerScottish Elopement

– Part One –

Some of my favorite highlights from an amazing elopement in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, Glencoe. Sarah and Nicholas along with friends flew from the US to share their special moment in the Scottish scenery. Which is a perfect place for someone whose life and the job is very much dedicated to the worldwide whisk(e)y industry. They are both the heart and soul of Whiskynomad, where they share their journey through the whisky world. This awesome couple loves travels and crazy adventures. And indeed, we had a crazy adventure during those two days. The day after the ceremony we climbed up one of the Munro, Sgorr nam Fiannaidh (Scottish mountain) to get some additional shots and footages. And where they both could celebrate their elopement in a really special way by having a symbolic sip of very unique 56-year-old whisky – The Last Drop.

The climb took us 3 hours and once we got there the clouds covered the summit completely. It was raining so heavily (not to mention hail) that we had to make a provisional shelter and wait until it becomes possible to take ANY shots. Anyway, we finally managed to get out there for literally few minutes and take some shots. Well, it wasn’t easy but it was worth all the effort and we had lots of fun. We did it and guess what, we’ll do it again 🙂

Check out the SECOND PART of that awesome elopement to see its cinematic version HERE
