When I met with Laila and Nathan for the first time, it was actually at The Craigellaiche hotel. It was still a few months before the wedding but I literally couldn’t wait to come back to capture their day. Great location and opportunity to work with awesome and optimistic people always makes me impatient. It’s more like fun rather than work then. Doesn’t matter how far you have to travel, it’s always rewarding.
I am so happy to share their photo story from that stunning location. What a landscape! It turned out to be perfect for the evening photoshoot when we hung out to take some shots around the river Spey. Great time for the newlyweds to get a deep breath after the entire day and relax a bit having some really nice views. And perfect for me to take some candid and intimate shots of them. Couldn’t wish for more!
By the way, Speyside is home to more than half of Scotland’s malt whiskey distilleries. Not to mention an impressive collection of around 900 whiskeys The Craigellachie Hotel has. So for sure, no one gets bored there quickly.
