No doubt, it was a truly romantic wedding at the fairy-tale Barnbougle Castle and Dalmeny House. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of Rebeccas and Stewart’s day. Especially that I was also accompanying them the day before, during their prewedding evening at Edinburgh Castle. Amazing party at probably the most iconic place in Edinburgh you could think of. Music, dancing, great people and lots of fun. No unnecessarily stress or pressure. Just the perfect way to spend a night before such an important day in your life – simply with your family and friends, enjoying every minute you spend together.
The wedding day began in the heart of The Edinburgh Grand Hotel when Stewart was getting ready. I met up with him there and then headed back to Dalmeny House and captured the rest of the day.
Having one of the hottest summers in Uk there was no other option than to have the ceremony outside the Castle. You just have to take advantage of this. Absolutely gorgeous view over the Firth of Forth. Couldn’t ask for a better place to say “I do”.
