SAND DUNES ADVENTURE ELOPEMENT – Słowiński Park NarodowyElopement

It’s one of the most magical and beautiful places I’ve ever been with newlyweds to take the pictures. Moving sand dunes in Słowiński Park Narodowy (Słowiński National Park) in Poland create a stunning landscape. It’s really hard not to be impressed when you’re there. 40 meters high sand dunes are not something common in the middle of Europe. It’s a place you want to go back to, especially that the entire landscape is continuously changing. Winds carry sand inland and the dunes slowly move, at a speed of 3 to 10 meters per year. Which recently led to revealing dead trees – a forest that was covered by dunes for many years.

Amazing and picturesque desert-like scenery was perfect for a post-wedding photo shoot. Even if we didn’t have too much time to do it, it was worth to go there. And I think that a light rain at the end just added a great mood to the pictures. And I know I’m probably the one who’s responsible for bringing that rain from Scotland. Anyway, great place, lovely couple, lots of fun and literally tone of sand in my pockets. Felt like one of the dunes decided to go with me back home. Can’t wait to be there again.
