– Zoe and Scott’ Adventurous Glencoe elopement –
Zoe and Scott decided to travel to Scotland for their adventurous Glencoe Elopement. After having to postpone their wedding a few times amid the pandemic chaos and constantly changing restrictions, the idea of running away from it all and to elope in Glencoe turned out to be a perfect solution. I can’t really think of a more romantic place to elope in Scotland than Glencoe. Especially, if you’re outdoorsy couple like they are.
I couldn’t be more happy to find out that love for hiking and spending time in the mountains is what we have in common. That really made us want to stay there and explore more and more without even bothering when to call it a day. I’m sure we would all agree that there’s something special about being in the mountains that no matter what, you always end up with that rewarding sense of fulfilment.
No doubt, it was a truly adventurous Glencoe elopement. Starting with an intimate ceremony, followed by a picnic on cosy blankets and a totally laid back session at the end of that day when we went on a hike.
Having an old Land Rover to get us anywhere we wanted to go was just the icing on the cake. Really awesome way to explore a bit more of Glencoe area before we took a hike.
Since Zoe and Scott come from England and they’ve never been to Glencoe before, I was absolutely thrilled to be able to show them around and take to some awesome locations. Even though I happened to be there so many times (see my blog) I still keep finding new interesting spots up there. I wish I could take them to few more of my favourite spots and hidden gems but I guess we would need to stay there for at least two more days. Not that it’s something that I would be complaining about 🙂
If mountains and hiking is what makes you tick then go ahead and drop me a line (here). I’m looking forward to hearing about your elopement ideas.
